The Ark challenged five Irish designers to make new products for children. Design it was a free exhibition featuring these products and a series of workshops exploring design in a child’s world. In absence of product images, we developed a striking self referential typographic treatment as a core element of the identity. This emphasised the materiality of design and highlighted it’s ubiquitous nature. The typography was supplemented with a simple and flexible illustration style that was used in a variety of print and online applications.
