Hurson had been collaborating with several other creatives producing non commercial visual dialogues referencing the community, the arts, music, fashion and culture. We decided to develop a sub brand that all of our self initiated work and collaborations could be housed under. Belfast Fanciers Club came to be after I discovered a series of homing pigeon portraits on a stall at St. George's Market Belfast. I was taken by the beauty of them and the dedicated community based around them. I loved the fact these birds travelled far but always came home. Belfast Fanciers Club like most appreciation societies delights in all things well crafted, designed and produced.
