The role of public engagement and expression during the centenary of 1916 demonstrated the societal value of culture and creativity, and led to the initiation of the Clár Éire Ildánach / The Creative Ireland Programme. This five year programme’s vision is that every person in Ireland will have the opportunity to realise their full creative potential.

Zero-G were commissioned to develop an identity and communications for the programme. As well as referencing the CI of Clár Ildánach and Creative Ireland the mark that was developed represents a creative frame within which anything can happen. While its simplicity lends itself to being used as an endorsement at small sizes, the mark is also used as a dynamic element across the identity roll-out, adapting and changing its proportions as appropriate to the situation.
