Dumpling Sisters – Branding & Website (2017)

Sisters Amy & Julie Zhang, were born in New Zealand to Chinese parents and are now based in the UK. Their aim is to promote quality Chinese cooking beyond the realms of late night take-away fodder.

The new identity reflects their vibrant and fun personalities, and as photography wasn’t their strongest asset, we created a more of a scrapbook feel to the site. Abstracted ingredients and sticky notes, interact with imagery to keep things loose and playful. The site features a range of content, from the usual recipes and cooking tips, to more obscure topics like random Asian supermarket finds and an extensive glossary of terminology.
