Galway International Arts Festival has evolved over the last 40 years from an internationally renowned 10-day festival to producing a year-round programme of talks and touring theatre productions. The brief for the new website was to create a clear and coherent online presence which tells the story of the organisation, reflects their year-round programme of events, and showcases the festival each year to an international audience.
The visual language of the website gives visitors a sense of the festival experience without distracting from the content and usability of the website. With branding to the forefront, giaf.ie communicates the role of the festival on an international stage. The website architecture allows users to easily find the information they need with ease.
