Hey, Honey!

Farmer Tom has a pumpkin patch on his Meath based family farm. Every year children come across the counties to visit the patch and pick a pumpkin. In 2017 he introduced bees and started making his own honey.

The challenge was to create a heartwarming logo and packaging for Hey, Honey! that would reflect the experience of visiting the bee hives. The identity would need to have a whole family appeal.

The outcome of the project is an identity reminiscent of childhood drawings, combined with a limited colour palette of black and yellow. The minimal use of colour contrasts the quirkiness of the hand lettering and illustration, giving the design a sophistication so that the brand and product appeals to both parent and child.
