MAtters is a publication which aims to instigate and promote a discussion of issues surrounding design education at MA level education. It is aimed at current and future postgraduate design students, design educators and the creative industry.

MAtters is comprised of two parts: The first section holds the edited transcript of an event that took place in Summer 2009 at the Candid Café in London. This event featured three chaired panel discussions (students, educators and practitioners) engaging with issues of postgraduate design education such as responsibility, employability, authorship and relevence.

The second section presents a selection of work and essays by the students of the MA Comminucation Design course at Central Saint Martins. This provides a backdrop of relevent work to underpin the wider discussion of postgraduate design education.

MAtters was was launched on May 12th 2010 at the Design Museum London.
