In early 2018, the National Transport Authority (NTA) and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) set out on the public consultation phase of a project of significant scale and importance to the state and particularly to the continued development of Dublin. This project is MetroLink and it will be the largest infrastructural project ever delivered in the Irish state.
The naming process was a fundamental aspect to the project and was handled through a process of working closely with the client and stakeholder groups as well as research using focus groups.
Along with the new name, an incisive visual identity was created which continued through a brand design phase and the development of comprehensive brand guidelines. The scale of the launch and the roll out was significant and culminated in the delivery of an impactful and informative range of print and digital collateral, display materials, maps and info-graphics which formed the core of the public consultation.
