Pivot Dublin asked us to revisit and revise a project from some years ago. We had devised a printed and online map which shows a designer’s selection of things to do and see in Dublin city.
In revisiting the web version of the map, we refactored the site to run measurably faster. We created a fully integrated solution for desktop and mobile where there had previously been two parallel sites. The new iteration pulls in live syndicated event data from the Irish Design 2015 website, limiting to the Dublin area and with a progressive load determined by the user’s location. The site now also houses a series of routes through the city, highlighting nearby attractions.
