SET Volume 2 Issue 1

SET is an occasionally published zine, which examines how architectural space impacts and relates to cinema. Founded in 2013, SET have produced numerous issues, taken part in gallery events and organised film screenings across Dublin. Volume 1 ran to 6 editions and included original writing on films by Hitchcock, Wilder and McQueen. For its second volume, the single sheet format shifted to a 12 page booklet, accommodating longer texts and affording more space to showcase illustrations. The first issue in this new volume contains essays on Wings of Desire (1987) and Fitzcoraldo (1982). It was published on newsprint, in an edition of 100 and launched at the Dublin Art Book Fair, Temple Bar Gallery + Studios on the 21st November 2015.
