‘The Present Box’ is a mindfulness concept, borne from the growing need for parents and children alike to temporarily switch-off from digital media and re-engage their relationship through the simplicity of tech-free play. TAP were approached to create the identity for this forward-thinking concept.
We created a distinctive design language with brand mascot ‘Boxie’ and the tagline ‘The gift of time’ at the heart. Using a simplistic, hand-drawn logo combined with a high energy colour palette, the identity captures the unique quirks and genuine good-hearted nature of family-time. The playful and conversational tone-of-voice appeals to parents and children alike.
Recognising that tech is intrinsic to modern living, we partnered with Hustle & Praise to bring the personality of The Present Box online, designing a custom suite of assets such as the activity filter for the website.
