Yvette Monahan is a Dublin based Photographer who works with myths and landscape. The Time of Dreaming the World Awake is a portrait of a place, a landscape of possibility. This photographic body of work is based in a small region in Southern France. It centres on the story of Bugarach, the ‘magic’ mountain.

An unusual 'multi-case' typeface combining traditional lowercase and small capital characters was chosen to accompany the other-worldly atmosphere of the photography.

Yvette won the Portfolio Award at PhotoIreland 2013 for her body of work The Time of Dreaming the World Awake. The Time of Dreaming the World Awake was exhibited and published in New Irish Works, a showcase of contemporary photography currently in Ireland.
