As part of Clár Éire Ildánach (Creative Ireland Programme) the ireland.ie URL was relaunched in March 2017 to create a positioning for Ireland that transcended individual sectoral concerns (tourism / investment / culture / education, etc.) to present a more holistic representation of the country. Zero-G were engaged to develop the strategy and visual expression for the website. Working with content partners Big-O and director Ruán Mangan we developed a website that presented a myriad of individual stories from Ireland that together communicated a country that recognised the value of creativity, culture and community. The launch of the site proved to be a successful example of cross-departmental government communications and laid the foundations of acceptance in government of the benefits of a more coordinated approach to national identity.
