Identity, guide and wayfinding for Wilder Beings Command! – a night of outdoor performance at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on Saturday 29 July 2017. This unique night expanded from the major IMMA group exhibition As Above, So Below: Portals, Visions, Spirits and Mystics – an exhibition which explored how the spiritual endures in our everyday lives. Celebrating art beyond the gallery floor, Wilder Beings Command! featured performances, music, storytelling and dance. This live event roamed across IMMA’s meadows and Formal Gardens, building to a grand finale in the Chapel. With moments of procession and ritual across the evening, the audience could play an active part in its unfolding, or just sit back and watch it all unfurl.

Being a one-night event, IMMA were keen for it to leave a minimal footprint in terms of waste. Spray-painted rocks, simple silver foil fringe garland and wooden signs with vinyl graphics guided guests through the event with both economy of means and striking effect.
